John Campbell, Owner/General Manager

John Campbell, Owner/General Manager

Quality Advantage’s General Manager and Owner, John Campbell began his construction experience at the young age of fourteen as a member of a crew building modular homes. Over the years he has been an installer, crew lead, and production manager for a gutter company. He has been responsible for oversight and management of all aspects of a $3 million plus company, managing teams as large as fifty.

John is very active in his professional community. He is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), National Builders Association, Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist. (CAPS)

While active in his business, he still manages to give back to the community in many ways. He has been an adult leader for the Boy Scouts of America for over fourteen years, assists with the HELP bag lunch program, is active in his church (Gloria Dei Lutheran), supports Habitat for Humanity and is a volunteer with Youth Sail VA. John lives in Hampton with his wife Carolyn and sons, Miles and Dylan.

John’s giving spirit and drive for excellence has been recognized by organizations and people throughout Hampton Roads. He was the recipient of the Fantastic 50 award and the Excellence award given by the VA Chamber of Commerce, and the Excellence Award for Customer Service by Liners Direct. Quality Advantage has also been voted the Reader’s Choice Award by the readers of the Daily Press 2009 – 2015, and the Best of Bathroom Remodeling by the Virginia Pilot. In 2014 and 2015, Coastal VA Magazine readers voted Quality Advantage the Best Bathroom remodeler.

Bryan Klee

Coming to Virginia from Alden, New York, Bryan has lived in the Hampton Roads area for 11 years.

Having begun his ten year career with Quality Advantage as an installer, Bryan’s technical and product knowledge, combined with his design skills make him an excellent consultant. Customers often comment on his thoroughness and professionalism. Because of his expertise, customers are immediately at ease. He is able to design a bathroom to the customer’s specifications and answer any of their questions. They also enjoy his easy-going personality.

In his free time, Bryan enjoys working around the house, golf and spending time with his lovely wife, Jen. He is an avid sports fan and a die-hard supporter of the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres.

Phillip Miller, Sales Consultant

Phillip Miller

Phillip Miller, Sales Consultant, comes to the Hampton Roads area from Alabama. He has lived in Newport News for seventeen years.

Phillip has been a consultant for Quality Advantage for 11 years and has developed extensive product and design expertise. His customer’s appreciate Phillip’s product knowledge and ability to help meet their needs.

Phillip has a BS in Education but has enjoyed working in the Home Improvement field since 1997.

When not helping clients, Phillip likes to spend time with his family. He also enjoys working on his beach house and the beach. He is an avid fitness buff and enjoys all forms of art.

Carol Young

Carol Young

Carol is the Marketing arm of the company. Most recently, she earned a graduate certificate in eMarketing from the University of Virginia. She also holds an MBA from St Bonaventure University and a BS from State University of New York at Empire College. Originally from Western New York, Carol has lived in the Hampton Roads area now for 11 years. She has held marketing positions in B2B and B2C companies. With nearly twenty years in the marketing field, she enjoys her position at Quality Advantage because every employee is key to the success of the company. “Everytime a person interacts with a customer, he or she represents the business. A great experience with each employee creates a great company image and referrals.” she says. In her free time Carol enjoys time with her family. She is also an avid gardener and loves to read.

Julie Salsnoske

Julie Salsnoske

Julie has been working at Quality Advantage since September of 2013. As the Receptionist/Scheduler, she is our version of an Air Traffic Controller. Things can get pretty hectic some days with the phones ringing, orders being delivered and juggling installation and service call appointments. She handles it all with calmness and a smile, never losing her cool. When she is not keeping us organized, Julie enjoys photography and gardening. Hailing originally from California, Virginia has been home for 32 years. She lives in Hampton with her husband and is the proud grandmother of four girls.

Jennifer Nauroth

Jennifer Nauroth

Jennifer Nauroth has been part of the Quality Advantage family for eight years. She is the glue that holds the business together, doing almost everything except sell and install. If there are bills to pay, employees to pay, items to order, or a piece of paper to process, Jen is the go-to girl. Her organizational skills keep the business running like a well-oiled machine. She lives in Hampton with her husband and two teenagers. In her free time, Jen enjoys running and staying fit. She also loves planning frequent trips to her happy place – Disney World!

Erik Utt

Erik Utt

Hailing from the “Windy City”, Chicago, Illinois, Erik has been a resident of Hampton Roads, VA for 18 years.

In his role as Production Coordinator, Erik oversees all of the installations and ensures that the warehouse is neat and the right supplies are ordered and stocked. In addition, he handles the majority of service calls. Customers praise Erik for his skill in finding the root of a problem and his ability to get it repaired quickly. They love his friendly, customer-first attitude. In this position for a little over a year, Erik is key to making sure that jobs continue to run smoothly and in the promised timeframe.

Erik has ten years of design and skilled labor on his resume. He lives in Hampton Roads with his wife and two sons. In his free time he enjoys time with them and jokes that he is the “Karaoke King.”

Curtis Reed

Known by colleagues and customers for his ever present smile and patient attitude, Curtis is a valued member of the Quality Advantage family. A lifetime resident of Williamsburg, Virginia, he has worked as a Lead Installer for five years. Customers often comment on Curtis’s skills as well as the manner in which he treats them and their home. He involves the homeowner in the installation process, ensuring that their expectations are being met. He and his team pride themselves on protecting the rest of the home while they work and leaving it cleaner than when they started. Curtis has worked in a variety of construction-related jobs for more than twenty years. He keeps his skills honed on the job daily. When not installing bathrooms, Curtis enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Jose Vasquez, Lead Installer

As the senior member of the Quality Advantage team, Jose Vazquez is skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to construction and remodeling. With over 16 years of service as Lead Installer at Quality Advantage, he has faced all kinds of situations and always handles any problems in a professional manner, keeping the customer’s satisfaction in mind at all times.

The company receives many surveys and letters complementing Jose on his friendly personality and work ethic. He always makes sure to answer any of the customer’s questions and addresses any of their concerns.

Jose has lived in Newport News for 38 years. He resides there now with his wife and family.

When not remodeling bathrooms, Jose enjoys the outdoors, fishing, and his family.
